Horoscope

Song of the moment: Riot by The Sounds

I'm just browsing around the net, checking out my horoscopes in random Astrology sites and comparing all of them to one another and then to myself. Ugh, I know... I must be really bored, but I've been working on my oil-pastel thing for Art all day long and I just want to sit here and read.

My 'free' horoscope from Astrology.com

Section 1: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
You are, in many ways, an eternal child. Your mind is bright, alert, curious, flexible, playful, and always eager for new experiences - and your attention span is often quite brief. You grasp ideas quickly and once your initial curiosity has been satisfied, you want to go on to something else. You crave frequent change, variety, meeting new situations and people.

Section 2: Mental Interests and Abilities
You are highly interested in inner, subjective, and personal issues, and your thinking is based more on feelings, intuition, personal experiences, and prejudices rather than reason or logic. Intellectual abilities and accomplishments without heart or soul mean little to you. You are empathic and would be an excellent counselor, for you are a sensitive listener and deeply interested in a person's feelings and inner life. In addition to psychology, you are drawn to education, art, poetry, music, or mythology. You are not especially confident about speaking in public, but will open up and share your thoughts in small, intimate groups. You enjoy keeping a diary or personal journal and reading the chronicles of others' lives and personal development.

Shiny happy person. Today your individuality will really shine. So for the best day possible, try showing off the qualities that make you different and unique. That could involve wearing your favorite clothes, sharing your hobbies and collections, or even telling others your most unique desires.

(uhhh.. this is far from what I am, but whatever. o_O;)

Daily
Is there no sense of ceremony left in the world? Are we all now inured to drama by the TV and the Internet? It often seems, as if we live in a ‘so what?' society. There just isn't as much magic around as there used to be. There is though, it's just that you have to look for it a little harder. No great opportunity is about to bow down before you and offer to make itself your slave. But if you now saddle-up your horse and ride out through the ranch of possibility, you may yet manage to lasso one quietly and bring it home behind you.

Weekly
Actions may well speak louder than words. But if they are not accompanied by some form of verbal explanation, they are likely to be misunderstood. It is not just, 'good to talk' it is essential. Yet, if all you do is talk, you won't get very much done. A balance needs to be struck. You have an exceptional opportunity to progress and profit. It will work best if you plan cleverly and communicate clearly. Remember too that, in the end, nothing is ever quite so persuasive as a definitive gesture.

Monthly
At last it’s all systems go again on the work front. If you’ve been treading water professionally lately, you’ll find the heavenly vibes this month get you back in the swim. ‘No more wasted efforts’ would be a good motto for October. With Mars now going forwards in your work zone, the trick is to make up for lost time - by forging ahead, while keeping your temper as cool as you can. (By the way, Geminis with their eye on someone around the office could do worse than to schedule a quiet little after-work drink for around the 10th.) With so much potential for action at work now, you’ll be glad of Venus’ help – she’s moving through the part of your chart related to your well-bring and encouraging you to look after yourself and to get yourself pampered – especially if you’re burning the midnight oil and/or working too hard. Make the adjustments you need to, to improve your ability to function at peak performance. By the end of the month, Saturn will be offering you a chance to restructure your finances. It’s a great to have a think about where you want to make changes to secure a more solid financial future.
Best days to avoid an argument: October 14 - 15

(Wow, this site has a daily, weekly and monthly horoscope. The webmaster must have a LOT of time in his hands...)

Umm... yeah I think that's enough for now. I'm feeling a little sleepy. I'll probably work a little bit more on my art piece, finish my book, and go off to bed. I am SUCH a fucking rebel.

Infection (infezione)

Song of the moment: 7 Days A Week by The Sounds

My ear lobe is infected. I've been wearing these cheap 4-dollar earrings from Wet Seal for the past month, and the piercings that I got YEARS ago just started to get infected. Wierd. Now my right ear lobe is oozing out some wierd, clear liquidy shit and it's really annoying me. I'm trying to comtrol it with the "Ear Care" thingy I got when I got my cartilage pierced, but the shit still keeps oozing. It's fucking gross.

Anywho, Romy invited me to this thing him and his friends are gonna do this Halloween. They're going to some haunted place or whatever in Milpitas and do some droppin' and drinkin' or whatever. lol. Anywho, I'll go if Stephanie goes... I'll just be the only one not drinking or on E and stuff and its all good. I'm not sure if I'm going to dress up for Halloween, I'm too lazy to go out and find a decent costume. Meh. -_-

Wooh, Science Camp is next week. I still need to get my teachers to sign the permission slip, and I'm off! I need to get candy for my kids... and lets see.... get my homework... blah..... yay! =D

Into the darkness..

Song of the moment: Mr. Paganini by Ella Fitzgerald

Wow, I just realized how I've been wearing black a lot lately. People are getting the impression of me as a goth or a punk poser or something. Eww. Specially now, since I dyed my hair 3/4 black/dark dark dark blue. With my black makeup and black clothing, I really look kind of... goth-ish. Jaya said I should be Elvira for Halloween. She's like, "Dude, that'd be cool... an Asian version of Elvira"

Umm, yeah..... No. o_O;

Anywho, I just put up a nifty-cool new tagboard for everyone! Actually, it's more for me so I can read what the people that read my diary have to say about me. Call it an act of conceit, but at least you guys can tell me how much I suck and stuff. ;)

Up-comming concerts in Santa Cruz

Song of the moment: Radio #2 by Ataris

Who: Sugarcult w/special guests
When: Sunday, October 26th
Where: Rio Theater, Santa Cruz

***

Who: Less than Jake, Rufio, and Fall Out Boy
When: Saturday, November 15th
Where: Catalyst, Santa Cruz

Concerts are great. I just have to find someone to go with.. I'm pretty sure Tya would want to go with me. None of my "normal" friends that I usually hang out and have known longer would ever want to go with me to these concerts. Ashley would, but she's usually busy on weekends working. The rest just aren't into this type of music. *sigh* I need new friends...

If anyone that lives in Santa Cruz or anywhere near Santa Cruz is reading this right now and listens to Rock, e-mail or IM me right away because I really need a concert buddy.
